Someone (an organization) purchased "Platinum for windows" from DPSI over 10 years ago, and run it in Windows Server 2002 machine. And now if they are upgrading their machine to Server 2012 then is it possible that they install that same version of "Platinum for Windows" in new machine or they need to re-purchase a new version? I have this doubt because Sage Platinum for Windows Product is being retired.

This is a retired product which means you won't have the possibility to obtain another version anymore. I would advise installing the version of the software that you have. Secondly, access the Sage website and acquire a new product that will run in Server 2012. I don't think the application will be compatible with Windows Server 2012.
